Additional information  These data suggest that the way of oil manufacturing is important in terms of chemical characteristics, but what is also essential, may represent a cell suppression potential which may differ regarding the type of tumor. It is also important to conduct further investigations to determine the limitations for some other types of cancer. This study also showed that raspberry oil obtained by SCO2, due to its rich composition, may act in favor of chemoprevention of colon and breast cancers. We also observed that the metabolic activity of colon and breast cancer cell lines may be sensitive to the n-6/n-3 ratio.
