Safety | The in vitro cytotoxicity of B. frutescens extracts was evaluated against MCF10A at three various concentrations: a concentration lower than IC50, the IC50 value, and a concentration higher than IC50. All B. frutescens extracts tested showed insignificant cytotoxic activity against the normal human breast cancer cells . This indicates the selective cytotoxic activity of B. frutescens towards cancer cells and not normal cells. |
